Kyndle’s Fruit Pizza

With the 4th of July coming up, I wanted to share one of our favorite desserts: fruit pizza. If you’ve never had this delicious treat, I encourage you to try it as soon as you can! It not only tastes incredible, but it’s super easy to make. It’s especially yummy when you use Oak Grove Farms fruit.😋 We have lots of fruit at the market right now, so make sure to grab some to try this out. *Full recipe is at the bottom of the page.

STEP ONE

We start off by spreading sugar cookie dough evenly on a pizza pan. You can see my beautiful work below. Once it’s all spread out evenly, you’ll pop it in the oven for 16-20 minutes, and then let it cool for at least 30 minutes.

STEP TWO

While it’s cooling, you can go ahead and mix the topping. I usually use my hand mixer, and all you do is mix together your cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until it’s nice and fluffy.

STEP THREE

Now you’re going to spread the topping evenly all over the sugar cooking. Once it’s covered, you’ll place your fruit as desired! You can have fun with it, and you could even make an American flag design for 4th of July!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 packages of premade sugar cookie dough (or you can make your own if you’re an overachiever😉)

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 cup fresh Oak Grove Farms raspberries

  • 1 cup fresh/frozen Oak Grove Farms strawberries (if you’re lucky)

  • 1 cup fresh Oak Grove Farms blueberries

  • 1 cup fresh Oak Grove Farms blackberries
*Feel free to use any fruit you want (but obviously from Oak Grove Farms😉)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray pizza pan with cooking spray. Press sugar cookie dough evenly in pan within 1/2 inch of the edge. Bake for 16 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

  2. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with a mixer until fluffy. Spread mixture over cooled crust.

  3. Arrange fruit over cream cheese. Refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour.
